A few months ago we have decided to launch a new kind of post on Facebook : Subtle Street Style. Since then, due to the success of the publications, we took the decision to launch a proper blog. You can read the first Street Style with Olof the nomad philanthropist by clicking here.
Subtle Street Style is about inspiring people and the way they wear their shoes. Classy, trendy, dreamy or even trashy, they all talk about their Subtle experience
Maxime Donnet is the guest of this second Street Style. Musician, artist and Subtle’s co-founder, he loves to spend his energy in projects of all kinds. Eternal dreamer, he is in charge of the brand’s marketing and communication. Maxime took the time to represent Subtle in the streets of Venice. We asked him a few questions. Enjoy the ride.
Who are you ?
Maxime Donnet, I am passionate about music, drawing, fashion and everything related to creativity in general. I like having in mind that we are living an incredible time full of opportunities waiting to be seized.
How would you define your current clothing style?
Sober and efficient with details out of the ordinary. I like to adapt for any circumstance, sometimes classy, sometimes even disruptive. I like to believe that style is a language and elegance an affirmation of our own codes.
What is your favorite song at the moment?
The Sunday Charmers – This Way
For their second degree and the melody that smells like summer, beach and cocktails.
How does it feel to walk with your Subtle Alpha?
Comfort! I wear the Alpha Low Black. Personally this is the first time I walk in such shoes. And God knows I love shoes! The leather is flexible and fits when first put on the feet. No blisters, no “tight” feel, only good things. Of course, Pierre (our chief designer and revered co-founder) worked tremendously to produce a shoe with impeccable finishes. My positive impression is just growing day after day since I have been wearing them. And I must admit the design is just smashing.
Anything else to add?
“It is good to love many things, for therein lies the true strength, and whosoever loves much performs much, and can accomplish much, and what is done in love is well done.”
