The Epsilon sneaker is the third model imagined by Subtle for the year 2018. After the elegance of the Alpha derby and the minimalism of the Delta leather sneaker, the Epsilon shoes are 100% vegan, from the sole to the laces. More than a new design, this model is also PETA approved.

High quality microfiber

The Epsilon vegan shoes are made from microfibre with the Oeko Tex® standard 100 ecological label. This material, which is widely used in the field of furniture and car interiors, has many technical qualities. Both flexible and resistant, microfibre comes straight from Portugal. By sourcing from a single region, we reduce the carbon footprint of the model. We have selected a microfiber with a texture and grain close to leather. It is made from a Polyester / Polyurethane blend, guaranteed without solvents.

Inner ventilation rings

As microfiber is a less breathable material than leather, we have chosen to add two ventilation rings on the inside of the foot. These small openings allow the sole of the foot to breathe and evacuate heat in order to avoid perspiration and odors.

Anti-slip at the heel

To guarantee optimal comfort, we have also added a microfibre non-slip surface, which is very effective in preventing the heel from slipping on the back of the shoe.

Rubber sole

As for the white Delta sneaker, we have selected a very resistant rubber sole of 3 centimeters thick, glued then sewn to the leather on a Strobel assembly, ultra resistant. The perfect compromise between flexibility and support.

The Satin vegan Epsilon sneaker is made in our workshop in Portugal in the region of Porto. A workshop that we have selected for its know-how and its environmental approach, all with respect for the workers.
